A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
